DAYNA REID NAMED IHEARTRADIO FUTURE STAR WITH DEBUT RADIO SINGLE ‘SHE’S ME’
January 3, 2022 (Toronto, ON) – Powerhouse vocals, fresh, one-of-a-kind lyrics and an attitude of determination and tenacity, there’s a lot to be excited about with Dayna Reid.
From Elmvale, Ontario, Dayna recently signed with Open Road Recordings and RGK Entertainment Group. Dayna had the opportunity to debut her new music at Country Music Week in Calgary, Alberta and “the reaction in the room was immediate, the same experience we had seeing Dayna perform the first time shortly after being blown away by her life-to-date inspired and wonderfully contagious songs“ says Ron Kitchener.
Dayna discovered her voice at a young age and after picking up a guitar, she began her musical journey of writing, singing, and growing her craft.
“Over the past couple of years, I’ve been working towards my dream of a career in music, by writing songs developing myself as an artist with my mentor Beverley Mahood,” says Dayna. “I am SO excited and blessed that these songs have led me to signing with Open Road & RGK! Music has introduced me to the most creative, hardworking, and talented people and I’m so thankful to be working with this amazing team on this next part of my journey!”
Throughout 2020 and beyond, Dayna worked tirelessly on writing her story and creating the music she was meant to. Songs like ‘She’s Me’, ‘Long Way Home’ and the title track of her debut EP, ‘Back to the Trailer,’ present a very personal narrative that inherently will resonate with people globally.
