Sons of Daughters New Single "Drinks Well With Others" Available Now
“Drinks Well With Others,” the latest single from 2020 CCMA Award Rising Star nominees, Sons of Daughters (Jimmy Thow and Chrystal Leigh) is available now on all digital platforms and going for adds at country radio.
The fun, light-hearted and up-tempo track was produced by Jimmy Thow and co-written with Nashville songwriting heavy-weights Kyle Schlienger (“In Case You Didn’t Know” recorded by Brett Young) and Liz Sharpe.
“’Drinks Well With Others’ was a super fun song to write,” says Leigh. “This song showcases a more fun and lighter side to our personalities. Sonically, it’s a bit of a departure from our previous releases, which have lent themselves to a more nostalgic, pop forward sound. We wanted to write a song that showcased who we are when it comes to having a good time. ‘Drinks Well With Others’ is just that. It’s a fun, good-time party song.”
The duo’s debut EP “Love In A Bar” has amassed more than 3 million streams since its release in July 2019, and includes their Top 15 hit radio single “Ain’t Gonna Be Lonely Long.” In 2019, they were nominated for CCMA Rising Star, were selected as one of iHeart Radio’s Future Stars, and were finalists in the SiriusXM Top of the Country competition.
Fans can catch the duo at several major music festivals next summer, and on the rescheduled tour dates with Meghan Patrick in late 2021.
